The character of Las Balsas is defined by scale and restraint — just twenty rooms and villas, where architecture, light, and landscape remain closely connected.
No two stays unfold the same. Some arrive wanting the water at arm’s reach. Others prefer the forest behind them and the lake set at the end of a long view through glass. Whatever you choose, the lake is always there when you open your eyes.
ACCOMODATION
The Rooms at The Lodge
The original house, opened in 1988. Ten rooms across two floors, each shaped by a different relationship with the lake — through light, angle, and proximity.
History in the walls, silence in the mornings. Some rooms open wide to the water, others grounded in local timber. All lake-facing. Each one distinct.

ACCOMODATION
The Villas
Set apart from the main house, immersed in the surrounding forest. Ten villas built into the hillside, each one a standalone structure of stone, timber, and glass.
Floor-to-ceiling windows, private terraces, and the lake visible from bed. The forest at your back. The water in front.
